For the first book in a new series, this wasn't bad. I understand the characters, basic motivations and plot but I really wish there had been a bit more depth to the story. Things moved quickly, like all mate/insta love stories usually do, but I just felt there should have been more when it came to the challenge since that was such a big deal; more background on the angels and demons would have been nice as well. Still, I enjoyed the book for what it was and I don't usually read angel stories so the unusual factor was a plus for me; I just wish I could say that I was more impressed with the story itself than I am with the concept.Product details

It was an okay story I did buy the next one so maybe it's a little better. Let you know on that review.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a unique tale of angels living among humans. The story is good and flows nicely. It is also a very hot story.
Ok it was well written I guess... I just needed a little more.. It wasn't a bad story r anything it was just missing something for me.. I purchased the 2nd book when I brought this one but I won't b reading it anytime soon..
It was not as good as I'd hoped but it was good.
While I liked this book, it was a little too brief. I would have liked to read more about their story but it is still a good read.
it was interesting and a fun read, but it was shallow and I could not get a grasp on what, who, why and so on in the book. The writer needs more experience.
Erin M Leaf is one of my favorite writers but I had been avoiding this series bc of the ratings. I'm sorry I let the reviews deter me. While this is a short novella without as much depth as I normally see in a Leaf work, the characters and story are charming and engaging. The length matches the price and I'm going to read the next book because I already like the characters.
